Successfully lobbied against efforts to eliminate the Single Cost Accounting System
Worked cooperatively with the State Dept. of Education for a reasonable approval process
Conduct a yearly statewide conference with a national perspective
Part of the first statewide coalition to address critical special education issues
Effectively work with our lobbyist to insure the needs of our membership are met at the State and Federal levels
Represent private special education as a member of the State Advisory Council on Special Education and the Comprehensive System for Personnel Development (CSPD)
