Chris is an eleven year old boy with speech and language issues.  He is good natured and is reading and writing at a 2nd grade level.  The camp is not academic, but more arts & crafts and outdoor activities.  We’re primarily interested in promoting Chris’ socialization and we’re looking for someone to help Chris integrate into the group and do activities.  He did very well in the camp last year.

A male or female special education teacher, an intern or someone with relevant experience is our target person.  He responds best to people that have great energy, affect, are funny and kind.  He absolutely loves an audience and works best with someone who although they are "in charge' they follow his lead.

The camp, Judd Farm, is located between Litchfield and Watertown off Route 63.  It runs from July 19h thru August 13, Monday thru Friday, 8am to 4pm.
